15 Years of The Home Depot Retool Your School Program
In 2024, we celebrated 15 years of Retool Your School, The Home Depot’s annual HBCU grant program. Since 2009 The Retool Your School program has been awarding grants to upgrade campuses across 103 HBCUs.
We worked with our agency partner Walton Isaacson to develop a full-funnel, omnichannel marketing campaign to drive awareness of the program,drive community participation through voting for the Campus Improvement funds, and drive engagements beyond the core program period. We called this campaign “15 & Forward”. "15 & Forward " serves as both a celebration of the 15-year history of supporting the HBCU community and an ode to purposeful progress and The Home Depot’s continued commitment to HBCUs in the years to come.
