The Home Depot Kids Workshops
The Home Depot offers monthly in-store kids workshops with enriching activities for parents to take their children to. Here kids can learn hands-on skills and gain a sense of accomplishment while bonding with their parents. As an art director leading this work, I lead the development of creative paid assets, as well as the development of assets for the Home Depot’s website.
In this work we developed a new logo, updated photography and applied these updates to the digital and print ads that run monthly to promote these workshops. We also launched The Home Depot’s first ever digital workshops experience in Roblox’s RedCliff City.

Within the past year, our team worked with our agency partner to update our Kids Workshops logo, reflecting The Home Depot’s recently updated brand standards while maintaining the playful and inviting nature of the original logo. We aimed to update the logo with a simple, bold, iconic look that both reflects the modern approach to best in class logo design, as well as strengthens the connection and visibility of our parent brand identity.

With the support of my team, I led the effort to update our Kid’s Workshops photography. We worked with Parillo to capture the monthly workshops in a way that highlights the energy and excitement of the workshops and encourages participation. Our goal was to hero the project itself, highlight the building process, capture the authenticity of the excitement and reflect that excitement with vibrant and inviting color correction.










Paid Marketing Units
On a monthly basis, we launch a series of paid marketing material to promote the upcoming in-store kids workshops. These units include digital audio companion banners, static and video ads for Facebook and Instagram as well as Nextdoor digest ads. As this work’s leading art director brand-side, I worked with our agency partners to update photography and add our new logo into the monthly creative. I also work with the agency to produce copy that is inviting, engaging, and leads to high workshops participation in Home Depot stores across the nation.
